Miranda Peoples is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) for the state of NC with over 20 years of experience providing mental health treatment for children, teens, adults, and families. Miranda provides individual, family, and group therapy; specializing in trauma and PTSD treatment.  

Miranda is passionate about healing, wholeness, and a better quality of life. She uses TF-CBT, CPT, and SPARCS to aid in trauma treatment and recovery. She utilizes a strengths-based approach while incorporating CBT, Family Systems, and other evidenced-based models to aid individuals in developing effective strategies.  

Areas of focus: Trauma, PTSD,  depression, anxiety, chronic stress and stress management, adjustment disorders, family conflict, and teaching parenting skills. 

Miranda started I.C.A.R.E Counseling Services, PLLC in 2016 to provide caring and responsive trauma-focused support to individuals and families. Miranda completed graduate studies at Liberty University in April 2010. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
